This is Korky’s guide to Pride Week in Dublin (June 16th – 22nd 2017) to celebrate and show support to our huge LGBTQ community in Ireland and globally. So here are some events to keep your eye out for.




Queer History Walking Tour  (Free)

Sunday June 18th 2017, 14:30 – 18:30

The George, George’s Street, Dublin

Meeting at The George, activists Tonie Walsh and Ciarán Coleman of the Irish Queer Archive will take you on a compelling walking tour for three hours ending at the Oscar Wilde Statue. Before the walking tour, there will be a 20 minute screen of ‘Our Love is History’ that was the winner of Best Short at GAZE Film Festival in 2013. For more information, click here.


Morning Gloryville Dance  – The Great Gratsby Rave

Wednesday June 21st 2017 06:30 – 09:30

Café En Seine, 40 Dawson Street, Dublin

Cost: €12-€20

This awesome morning dance experience challenges people to get pumped for the day with techno, house, disco, cheesy and classic tunes! The day offers free yoga, massages, Dublin’s biggest DJs, face glitterification (yas), full stage production, trippy visuals, water stations and way more. A place to dance your heart out and feel care free! Check out the small print – as they will be recording the whole show!


Ceilí (Gaylí) (Free)

Thursday June 22nd 2017 - 21:00

Pantibar, Capel Street, Dublin

Hop down to the Pantibar to celebrate Pride with amazing music and Irish dancing! They’re also calling out any Irish dance and musicians to join in on the fun.



Glitterbomb – Pride Friday

Friday June 23rd 2017 – 21:00

The George, George’s Street, Dublin

Cost: Free before 22:00


Pre-pride night at the George, dress up in the most vibrant colours you have, throw on some glitter and you’re good to go! They’ll be awesome DJ’s and hunreal dancers. Help Dublin celebrate our LGBTQ love and support.


Pre-Parade Rally

Saturday June 24th 2017 – 12:00pm

St.Stephen’s Green South


There will be guest speakers and artists to begin an even bigger parade than before! There will even be a pride shop to pick up something if you’re a little colourless. The theme this year is ‘Find Your Inner Hero’!



Dublin Pride Parade

Saturday June 24th 2017 – 14:00

From St.Stephen’s Green to Smithfield


With so many floats, the Pride Parade will be such a massive hit! This is the main event for the official Pride Day so go early as tons are planning to support and celebrate the LGBTQ community. Here is the map down below of the route, so if you’re somewhere around it, pop out and have a look.

Mother Pride Block Party

Saturday June 24th 2017 – 16:00

Tivoli Grounds, 35-138 Francis Street, Dublin

Cost: €20


This party will be THE absolute dream! Smirnoff and Mother have paired up to bring you the best outdoor block party you could imagine. There will be a main stage that will be used by Scandinavian Eurovision star ‘Loreen’, electronic artist ‘Daithí’ and DJ sets from Panti Bliss and Mother DJs. Definitely worth checking out as they have loads of food stalls, banging music and even a glitter cannon (yes, you read it, a glitter cannon). You might even see us repping our brightest Korky’s shoes!

There’s definitely something there for everyone, whether it is chilling and enjoying the parade in the glorious weather or painting your whole body rainbow colours and dancing your heart out until morning! We love Pride month and it has us excited this week! Remember to stay safe, drink loads of water (+ cocktails) and CELEBRATE THE LOVE.
