Girl, we know, we know you don’t want to carry a massive handbag around with you! That’s why we’ve got our favourites here, small backpacks are the way to go. It is necessary to have a small bag, as many festivals have ‘Bag Policies’ to avoid danger. Most festivals allow you to bring a bag/backpack that is smaller than an A4 sheet of paper. There are many things you might need to store i.e. emergency ponchos, keys, purse. These are our faves of the week!

If you want a really light packed bag, get a bum bag. Perfect for the essentials, we got you too.

We know, we sound like your Mam but you will need some sort of water protection in this confusing Irish weather. We suggest transparent coats - you can plan your outfit to your best and everyone will still be able to see it through the jacket. In 2017, transparent coats are everywhere! So you should be able to find one in most places. These are our day festival raincoat favourites!

You may think it’s strange to pack raincoats and put on sunscreen in one day but Irish mother nature can surprise us! Don’t be unprotected for hours in an outdoor festival. Pack a cap, slap on that factor 50 and whip out your coolest glasses. Plus, no one wants to be a hurting red lobster the next day of a festival. According to the Irish Cancer Society, skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in Ireland, so protect yo self.
If you are thinking about wearing anything heeled… don’t do it (unless someone is carrying you around for the whole day). Pick something that is sturdy, that will last you the night with mud and grass. No point in having opened toed shoes if someone else’s drink will spoil them. We got you covered.
And our favourite part…
YAS, it is time to let your hair down. Sure, splash glitter on your face everyday. We’re loving so many Youtubers and beauty gurus, that it is hard to keep up with. Click here for more inspiration. Highlight everything! Paint your legs! Jewel it up! The best thing about festivals is that it can give you the confidence to step out your comfort zone without self conscious mindset. Even minimal lines makes such a difference!
Ziploc bag (for phone, take pictures without getting wet in the rain!)
Bottle cap (many festivals won’t give out water bottles with the lid)
Don’t forget to book a taxi before and after so you don’t have to walk around for hours looking for taxis home. Book the a couple of days before!
Now have fun and enjoy yo day!
